Clocky work log

What Clocky’s been up to.

New features, useful refinements, and the changes that make tracking time inside Discord feel simpler.

ReportingLatest

See individual work in the employee’s timezone

Pro and Lifetime servers can now use employee-local time for individual reports while shared team reports stay in server time.

  • Employees can privately set their reporting timezone with /timezone set, or check and reset it with /timezone status and /timezone reset.
  • Server managers can set or reset a current employee’s timezone on their behalf.
  • Individual reports in People can switch between Server time and Member time, with the timezone in use clearly labeled.
  • New sessions retain the timezone selected at check-in. Older sessions without a saved timezone continue to use server time; changing a setting does not rewrite history.
  • Shared overviews, team totals, and rankings continue using the server timezone for consistent comparisons.
Attendance

Attendance and duty panels now roll out for all servers

Attendance and the Duty Panel feature are now enabled globally after successful canary verification.

  • Attendance is now available across all Clocky servers.
  • Servers can publish and manage the persistent Duty Panel from Discord.
  • Dashboard attendance views include cleaner live status, filtering, and reporting improvements.
  • Existing sessions and server settings remain intact while the rollout is active.
Major update

Clocky just got a major upgrade

A broad Clocky update focused on speed, reliability, and making everyday server management easier.

  • Faster and more reliable slash command responses.
  • A completely refreshed Clocky dashboard.
  • Clearer settings and easier navigation.
  • Better support for phones and smaller screens.
  • Improved check-in filters, reports, and analytics.
  • Easier project and session management.
  • Server admins can choose a channel for future Clocky product updates.
Check-ins

Clearer project-required check-ins

When a server requires projects, Clocky now explains why a check-in stopped and how to continue.

  • The response identifies a required project as the reason the check-in could not start.
  • Clocky points people to the project option in /checkin instead of leaving them at a generic error.
  • The guidance stays private to the person checking in, keeping the server channel tidy.
Setup & support

Help is now one command away

Clocky now gives new servers a guided welcome and gives everyone a direct route to help from Discord.

  • Run /help for essential commands plus direct links to the dashboard, docs, and support.
  • New servers receive a focused two-minute setup guide in an available Discord channel.
  • Unrecoverable errors now include a support button so people have a useful next step.
Breaks

Breaks resume more reliably

Ending a break now resumes work as one server-side operation and returns a clearer result in Discord.

  • The work timer resumes automatically when /break end succeeds.
  • The confirmation shows the resumed project when the session has one.
  • Free servers now receive a direct Premium upgrade prompt when they try break tracking.
Reliability

A more dependable core

A behind-the-scenes reliability pass made everyday interactions more predictable and strengthened Clocky’s data controls.

  • Command responses now handle slow or interrupted requests more gracefully.
  • Data deletion flows provide clearer outcomes when a request needs attention.
  • Reporting-history and retention behavior is more consistent across plans.
Projects

Projects give every hour context

Teams can organize work around projects and move from raw time entries to reports that are easier to act on.

  • Choose a project while checking in without leaving Discord.
  • Use project context in session history and team reporting.
  • Filter dashboard views to focus on the work that matters right now.
Breaks

Break tracking arrives

Paid teams can pause active work and resume afterward while Clocky keeps break time separate from worked time.

  • Start, end, and check a break with the /break command.
  • Resume the work timer without manually checking out and back in.
  • Give server admins control over whether break tracking is enabled.
Launch

Clocky clocks in

Clocky launches with a focused promise: make work sessions and attendance easy to track without leaving Discord.

  • Start and finish work with /checkin and /checkout.
  • See current status, personal statistics, and recent session history.
  • Bring a little friendly competition to the server with team leaderboards.
